Run Tests

Display
Note: You can execute the Display test, Tone test, and LED test as a group by
running the Sequential test. See “Sequential” on page 127.
This test ensures that the timeclock’s screen is operating properly.
1. Tap Run Tests.
2. Tap Display. A pattern of vertical bars in each of the following color
arrangements appears:
– Red, green, blue, black, white.
– Green, blue, black, white, red.
– Blue, black, white, red, green.
– Black, white, red, green, blue.
– White, red, green, blue, black.
Tone
This test ensures that the timeclock’s beeper is operating.
1. Tap Run Tests.
2. Tap Tone. The device emits a tone during this test. If the test is successful, the
message “Tone Detected” appears.
LED
This test ensures that the timeclock’s LED lights are working.
Note: This test does not test the LED light on an attached remote reader.
1. Tap Run Tests.
2. Tap LED. If the test is successful, the lights flash, in succession, red, green,
and yellow.
