Note: If you are not a home employee, and cross-punching is not allowed at
this timeclock, the community home page opens.
Smart Landing
The optional Smart Landing feature displays time-sensitive messages (such as a
reminder to punch, or acceptance of a time-off request) when you access your
individual home page. Your administrator can configure a Smart Landing soft key.
Note: Typically, a single event, such as an accepted time-off request, appears in
both the Smart Landing area (to immediately alert you) and the Message Center
(so that you can retain it for later reference). All messages that appear in the
Message Center appear as Smart Landing notifications, but not vice-versa: Some
Smart Landing notifications do not appear in the Message Center, usually because
they are not directly work-related. For more information, see “Message Center
(Smart View)” on page 46.
Navigation
• The message in the leftmost position is considered open. To close it, tap
Close. To view the previous or next message, swipe right or left. You can
close only messages that are in the leftmost position.
• If you tap the log out button, the messages are considered unread, and will
appear in the Message Center.
• When you swipe left on the last open message, Smart Landing closes.
Biometric scanning
Timeclocks that include the Kronos Touch ID Plus option can validate your
identity based on a finger (or biometric) scan. This option offers three types of
biometric scanning: biometric verification, biometric identification, and biometric
identification with badge ID.
