English IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following: 1. Read all instructions. 2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handles or knobs to avoid any injuries. 3. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs, or this appliance in water or other liquid. 4. Not intended for use by children. Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used near children. 5.

BEFORE FIRST USE n Remove any stickers and wipe the body of the toaster with a damp cloth. n Before you use the appliance for the first time, we advise you to let the appliance complete a few toasting cycles without slices of bread on the highest browning setting in a properly ventilated room.

English 11. TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM SOLUTION The toaster does not work. Make sure the plug is properly inserted into the wall.
