8. Enter desired CTCSS sub-tone frequency in hertz on the numeric keypad. Make sure it's the same frequency
as that you entered for receiver CTCSS.
9. Press [MENU] to confirm and save.
10. Press [EXIT] to exit the menu system.

■1000Hz, 1450Hz, 1750Hz, 2100Hz Tone-burst
In the transmitting state, simultaneously press and hold the [PTT] and the [SK2] to send the selected
tone-burst.
Procedure 3.5.3 Tone-burst setup how-to
1. Press the [MENU] key to enter the menu.
2. Enter [1][6] on the numeric keypad to get to tone-burst.
3. Press [MENU] to select.
4. Use the [UP] and [DOWN] keys to select between 1000Hz, 1450Hz, 1750Hz and 2100Hz.
5. Press [MENU] to confirm and save.
6. Press [EXIT] to exit the menu system.
