PERIODIC
SERVICE
•Adjusting
Brake
Pedal
A
WARNING
To
avoid
personal
injury
or
death:
•
Stop
the
engine
and
chock
the
wheels
before
checking
brake
pedal.
Proper
brake
pedal
free
travel
30 to 40 mm on
the
pedal
Keep
the
free
travel in
the
right
and
left
brake
pedals
equal.
1.
Release
the
parking
brake.
2. Slightly
depress
the
brake
pedals
and
measure
free
travel
at
the
top
of
pedal
stroke.
3. If
adjustment
is
needed,
loosen
the
lock
nut
and
turn
the
turnbuckle
to
adjust
the
rod length within
acceptable
limits.
4.
Retighten
the
lock nut.

Checking
Fuel
Line
1.
Check
to
see
that
all lines
and
hose
clamps
are
tight
and
not
damaged.
2. If
hoses
and
clamps
are
found worn or
damaged,
replace
or
repair
them
at
once.

bleed

fuel
system.
