CAUTION
When removing
the
radiator cap,
wait
at
least ten minutes
after
the engine
has
stopped and cooled
down.
Otherwise,
hot
water
may gush
out,
scalding nearby people.
Radiator Water Leakage
1.
Pour a specified
amount
of
water
into
the
radiator.
2.
Set
a radiator tester (Code No: 07909-31551). Increase
water
pressure
to
the specified pressure.
3.
Check
each
section
for
water
leakage.
4.
When
water
leakage
is
excessive,
replace
the
radiator.
If
water
leakage
is
caused by a small
pinhole,
correct
the
radiator
with
radiator cement.

Thermostat
1.
Remove
the thermostat cover
(1).
2.
Remove
the thermostat (2).
(When reassembling)
Applya
liquid gasket (Three Bond
1215
or equivalent) only
at
the
thermostat cover side
of
the gasket.

Water Pump
1.
Remove the fan and fan pulley.
2.
Remove the
water
pump from gear
case
cover.
3.
Remove the
water
pump flange (1).
4.
Press
out
the
water
pump shaft
(2)
with
the impeller

on it.
5.
Remove the impeller from the
water
pump shaft.
6.
Remove the mechanical
seal
(4).
(When reassembling)
Replace
the
mechanical
seal
with
new
one.
