Battery Charging Current
1. After starting the engine, disconnect the battery positive
cord (+), and connect an ammeter and voltmeter. Then
switch on all electrical loads (such
as headlights) and measure
the charging current.
III NOTE
.. Connect an ammeter only after starting the engine.
.. When the electrical loads is considerably low or the battery
is fully charged, the specified reading may not be obtained.

1. Disconnect the lead wi res from the dynamo.
2. Start the engine, and check the generating voltage of the
dynamo.

Regulator

Continuity across Regulator's Terminals
1. Remove the regulator coupler.
2. Check with a tester whether the regulator is in optimum
condition or not.

III NOTE
.. Type to use a high-resistance tester as far as possible.
.. The judgement should be as below table. "ON" if the
indicator moves, otherwise "OFF"
