Pump Test
III NOTE
.. Before pump testing, perform the Flowmeter Connecting
and Test Preparation. (See page 8-54).
1. Open the loading valve completely.
2. Start the engine and set at approx. 2600 rpm.
3. Read and note the pump delivery at no pressure.
4. Slowly close the loading valve to increase pressure approx.

5. Read and note the pump flow at rated pressure.
6. Open the loading valve and stop the engine.
7. If the pump delivery does not reach the allowable limit,
check the pump suction line, oil filter or hydraulic pump.
