29EXCAVATOR OPERATION
BTo Raise the ROPS to Upright
Position
1. Remove both hair pin cotters and set pin.
2. Raise ROPS to the upright position.
To avoid personal injury:
A Raise the ROPS slowly and carefully.
3. Align set pin holes, insert both set pins.
Secure them with the hair pin cotters.
4. Tighten both looseness preventing knob
bolts.
To avoid personal injury:
A Make sure that both set pins are
properly installed as soon as the
ROPS is in the upright position and
secured with the hair pin cotters.
BAdjustment of Foldable ROPS
A Adjust free fall of the ROPS upper frame
regularly.
A If you feel less friction in folding the ROPS,
tighten the self locking nut q until you feel the
right friction in the movement.
