3.3.2 Connected Devices
The Connected Devices screen displays a list of devices that are connected to the network. The Connected
Devices screen also allows the user to block access to the Internet to a specific device.
The Connection Devices screen contains the following fields:
Connected Devices
Name - Device name
IP Address - Device IP address
MAC Address - Device MAC address
Connection - Device connection type
Block Internet - When checked, blocks specific device Internet access
3.3.3 Network Activity
The Network Activity screen displays a list of dialer logs and WIFI client connect and disconnect log.
The Network Activity screen contains the following fields:
Access logs - The table shows 30 most recently dialer entries with router IP,connect time and
disconnect time.
WIFI Client Access log - The table shows 30 most recently WIFI client connect and disconnect entries
with client MAC address, connect time or disconnect time.
3.4 Wireless
3.4.1 Wireless Settings
The Wireless screen allows you to configure the parameters needed for your wireless home network. A host of
Security methods are also applicable for this wireless network.
Settings
The Settings page contains following fields -
802.11 Mode -- Currently we provide only 802.11b/g mode
802.11b/g -- Allows all 802.11b or g devices (in the 2.4 GHz) to connect to the home router. 802.11n
and devices operating in the 5GHz range cannot connect.
Channel -- Selects the 802.11 frequency that the home router uses. Allows the home router to select
the optimal frequency to use given the radio environment in the vicinity of the home router. The 802.11
standard associates different channel ranges depending on if the home router is operating in the 2.4 or
5 GHz range. The Channel drop-down list reflects the available channel numbers for the selected
801.11 Mode.
Channel Bandwidth -- Enable users to control the trade off between performance and interference
with other WiFi users. Currently this option is not configurable. It is set to 20 MHz directly.
Maximum Simultaneous Clients -- Enable users to control the maximum simultaneous clients
connect to router.
WIFI Auto OFF Time Setting -- Enable users to control the Interval time to make WIFI off
automatically when no client connect to router.
Primary Channel and Secondary Channel -- when WiFi use 40Mhz bandwidth, there are two
channels(one is primary channel, the other is secondary channel.
Band40 ACS Switch -- when LTE use band40, WiFi will use channel 6,7,8,9,10, this will avoid conflict
with LTE band40.
Beacon Period Setting -- set Wifi's beacon period.
DTIM Interval Setting -- set wifi's DTIM interval.
