Other checks:
There is an adjuster on both the brake levers. Each
adjuster has 4 positions so that the released lever
position can be adjusted to suit the operator's hands.
Push the lever (1) forward and turn the adjuster (2) to
align the number with the arrow mark (3) on the lever
holder. The distance from the grip to the released lever is
minimum at number 4 and maximum at number 1.
With the scooter in an upright position, check the front
and rear fluid level. It should be above the lower level
mark. If the level is at or below the lower level mark " ",
check the brake pads for wear .
Worn pads should be replaced. If the pads are not worn,
have your brake system inspected for leaks.
The recommended brake fluid is brake fluid from a
sealed container, or an equivalent.
Make sure there are no fluid leaks. Check for
deterioration or cracks in the hoses and fittings.
