If the phone is on, you will see the phone battery icon in the upper-right corner
of the screen. When the black bars in the icon are “moving,” the phone is charging.
`^rqflkW Be sure the phone charger is plugged into the charger jack at the=Äçííçã=of the
phone, and not the earpiece jack on the side of the phone.

The phone battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen is no longer
“moving,” and it is filled with black bars.

■ To turn on keyguard, press to the left and hold it down until you see the
message “Keypad guard is active. Press 123 to unlock.”
You can answer a call with Keyguard on, but you must turn it off before you can
make a call.
