■ hÉó=_ÉÉé=iÉåÖíÜÔThis setting controls the length of key beeps. Select an option
from the list:

kçêã~äÔNormal length key beeps.

içåÖÔLong length key beeps may be useful for automated dial-in systems,
such as voicemail. Some older voicemail systems require
içåÖ key beeps.
■ hÉó=_ÉÉé=pçìåÇÔIf the volume is turned on, you can set the sound you hear
when you press a key.
■ jáëëÉÇ=`~ää=^äÉêíÔSelect bå~ÄäÉÇ if you want to have the phone alert you when
you have missed a call. Select
aáë~ÄäÉÇ if you do not want to be alerted.
■ pã~êí=pçìåÇÔIf this setting is bå~ÄäÉÇ, Smart Sound automatically adjusts the
earpiece volume based on the amount of noise around you or the other person’s
voice volume level. Once you have enabled Smart Sound, follow the
instructions in “To adjust the earpiece volume” on page 9.
■ jáåìíÉ=^äÉêíÔYou can alert you of elapsed time during a call with a short beep
ten seconds before each minute passes.
