You can send text messages using your Kyocera 2100 Series phone if this capability is
available to you. Check with your service provider for availability.
■ To learn how to enter text, see “Entering Text” on page 24.
■ If you are sending a message to more than one person, enter a space or a comma
between each phone number or email address.
■ You can send a message to up to ten contacts. If you are sending a message to more
than one contact, the phone automatically inserts a comma between each contact
name. The messages are sent one at a time, once to each addressee.

OK Enter the phone number or email address of the person to whom you are sending
the message, or select
`çåí~Åí to select a phone number or email address from a
contact.
PK Press to select kÉñí.
QK Enter your message and press to select kÉñí.
RK Press up or down through the list of options. Press to select an option:
■ pÉåÇ=jÉëë~ÖÉÔSend the message immediately and save it in your qÉñí=lìí_çñ.
■ `~ääÄ~Åâ=k ìãÄÉêÔAdd a callback number to the message. See “To add a callback
number to a message” on page 64.
■ aÉäáîÉêó=oÉÅÉáéíÔSend a notification to your phone when the recipient receives
the message.
■ mêáçêáíóÔMark the message kçêã~ä or rêÖÉåí.
■ pÉåÇ=i~íÉêÔSchedule delivery of this message. See “To send a message at a
scheduled time” on page 64.
■ p~îÉ=jÉëë~ÖÉÔSave the message in your cáäÉÇ folder.
■ bñáíÔExit without saving.
