Setting preferences
A confirmation prompt is displayed. The prompt for Erase All? is shown as an example.
4. Tap Erase to erase the messages.
Setting preferences
You can select the kinds of signals you want to hear when you receive voice mail or other messages.
To set message preferences
You can set the kinds of alerts you hear when you receive a voice mail message or SMS message
and how frequently you are alerted.
1. Tap from the Applications screen.
2. Tap Messages .
3. Tap to open the Messages menus.

4. Tap Voice Mail from the Settings menu. The Voice Mail Settings screen is displayed.
5. Tap next to Voice Mail. Select the type of alert you want for incoming voice mail messages.
Tap
OK.
Disabled
Do not use any type of sound or vibration alert for incoming voice mail.
Vibrate once
Vibrate when a new voice mail message arrives. Do not repeat.
