Setting Accessory preferences
To open the Preferences screens
1. Tap to view the Applications screen.
2. Tap Prefs Phone .
3. Tap in the upper-right corner and select your choice.
Setting Accessory preferences
On the Accessories preferences screen, you can customize settings for three of the accessories that
are used with your Kyocera Smartphone; headsets, Car Kits and TTY devices.
To change the accessory preferences
1. Tap to view the Applications screen.
2. Tap Prefs Phone .
3. Tap in the upper-right corner and select Accessories.
4. If you are using your Kyocera Smartphone with a headset, and want to route the ringer and
other alerts through the speaker (rather than through the headset), tap the
Play alert through
speaker when headset is plugged in check box.
5. If you are using your Kyocera Smartphone with a Car Kit, and wish the Car Kit to
automatically answer an incoming call after 5 seconds, tap the
Car auto-answer after 5 seconds
check box.
6. If you are using your Kyocera Smartphone with a TTY device for the hearing impaired, you
will need to tap the
TTY check box in order to enable the phone to be used with the device.
This section of the Phone Preferences screen allows you to set volumes for the earpiece, headset,
hands-free car kit, and speakerphone.
7. Tap to view the Applications screen.
8. Tap Prefs Phone .
To set basic volume preferences
1. Tap to view the applications screen.
2. Tap Prefs Phone .
3. Tap the pick list in the upper-right corner and select Call Volume.
Tap the in the upper-right corner
to open the pick list.
