Beaming Items and Categories
10. Tap OK when you have made your selection.
Beaming Items and Categories
You can beam selected To Do items or entire categories of items to other devices with
infrared ports.
To beam items
This option allows you to beam the selected item.
1. Tap to view the applications screen.
2. Tap to display the To Do List.
3. Tap anywhere in the item you want to beam.
4. Tap the To Do Menu tab in the top left corner of the screen.
5. From the Record menu, tap Beam Item.
6. Your Kyocera Smartphone attempts to connect to another infrared device. For more
information on beaming, turn to “Beaming information” on page 66.
To beam all items in a category
This option allows you to beam all items in the category of the selected item.
1. Tap to view the applications screen.
2. Tap to display the To Do List.
3. Tap in an item for the category you want to beam.
4. Tap the To Do Menu tab in the top left corner of the screen.
5. From the Record menu, tap Beam Category.
6. Your Kyocera Smartphone attempts to connect to a infrared device. For more information on
beaming, turn to “Beaming information” on page 66.
Mask Records
Items marked as Private are covered with a gray bar.
If no password has been assigned, you can view the masked items by
tapping on the gray bar. When you tap away from the item, the gray
bar returns.
If a password has been assigned, you will be prompted to enter the
password in order to view the masked items.
Hide Records
Items marked as Private are hidden (do not appear in the list).
If no password has been assigned, you can view the hidden items by
changing the status back to Show Records.
If a password has been assigned, you will be prompted to enter the
password in order to view the hidden items.
