Set Device’s Name
The name the device has on a Bluetooth
network can be changed.
1. Touch
Device name .
2. Edit the name of the device.
3. Touch
OK to save the name.
Allow Visibility
Touch Discoverable to allow the device to be
visible to other Bluetooth devices for a limited
time, usually about 120 seconds. A check mark
indicates
Discoverable is enabled.
Tethering & portable hotspot
From Tethering & portable hotspot , the
following features can be modified.
Enable Tethered Mode
Tethered mode shares the device’s Internet
connection when the device is connected to a
computer with a USB cable.
Touch
Tethered mode to activate tethered
mode. A check mark indicates
Tethered mode
is active.
Note: When using Tethered mode , the
device’s SD card will not be seen as a storage
drive on the computer.
Enable Wi-Fi Hotspot
Portable Wi-Fi hotspot shares the device’s
Internet connection with other Wi-Fi devices.
Touch
Portable Wi-Fi hotspot to activate the
Wi-Fi hotspot. A check mark indicates
Portable Wi-Fi hotspot is active.
Access Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings
Touch Portable Wi-Fi hotspot settings to
modify the Wi-Fi hotspot settings on the
device. These options are recommended for
users familiar with experience configuring
network connections.
Mobile networks
From Mobile networks , the following features
can be modified.
Enable Data Connection
Touch Data enabled to allow connections to
data services. A check mark indicates
Data
enabled
is enabled.
Enable Data Roaming
Touch Data enabled to allow connections to
data services when roaming. A check mark
indicates
Data roaming is enabled.
Set Data Roaming
1. Touch System select .
2. Select one of the following:
–
Home only does not allow roaming
data calls.
–
Automatic allows roaming data calls.
