Opening Latitude
To join Latitude:
Press Home , and touch > Latitude. 1.
If you see the privacy policy, read it and touch Agree & Continue if you agree with it. 2.
After you join Latitude, you can start sharing your locations with your friends. Only friends that
you have explicitly invited or accepted can see your location.
To open Latitude after joining:
Press Home , and touch > Latitude. 1.
Select the following options. 2.
 Touch MAP VIEW to see your friend on Google Maps.
 Touch to invite your friend to Latitude.
 Touch to check in with Latitude.
 Touch to refresh the friend list.
 Press Menu and touch Location settings > Location reporting to configure
your location reporting and sharing.
Inviting Friends
To share your location with friends and request to see their locations:
In Latitude, touch . 1.
Choose how to add friends: 2.
 Select from Contacts: Select any number of friends from People.
 Add via email address: Enter an email address and touch Add friends.
Confirm your friend is checked and touch Yes. 3.
If your friends already use Latitude, they receive an email request and a notification on Latitude.
If they have not yet joined Latitude, they receive an email request that tells them to sign in to
Latitude with their Google account.
