Tip:
Some keys have alternate characters. In any mode, touch and hold a key to enter a
number or symbol on the top right of a key. Touch and long-hold a key to bring up a list
of all the characters available on that key. Touch the character you want to enter from
the list.
Number & Symbol Mode
In Number & Symbol mode, you can enter numbers and symbols only from the onscreen
keyboard. While in this mode, the text mode key displays .
To enter numbers:
1. Select the Number & Symbol mode by touching .
2. Touch appropriate numeric keys.
To enter symbols:
1. Select the Number & Symbol mode by touching .
2. Touch appropriate symbol keys.

Touch to select from additional symbol characters.

Enter Text by Speaking
Voice input is an experimental feature that uses Google’s speech-recognition service and you
must have a data or Wi-Fi connection to use it.
If the touchscreen keyboard does not display , voice input is not turned on.
To turn on voice input:
1. Touch

3. Touch next to
