Create a Google Account Using Your Phone
1. Touch

2. Touch
ADD ACCOUNT

3. Enter your First name and Last name, and touch
Next

4. Enter your desired username, which will be the first part of your Gmail address, and
touch
Next
. The system will check the availability of the entered username.
 If it is not available, enter another desired username and touch Try again. You can
also select an available username from the list of Suggested usernames. Touch
Touch for suggestions, touch a name and then touch Try again.
5. When prompted, enter and reenter a password and touch
Next
.
6. Create a security question and answer, enter a secondary email address to help you
recover your password if you ever lose it, and then touch
Next
.
Note:
When setting up a new Google Account, either on your phone or online, you will be
prompted to add a secondary email address. Enter a second Gmail address or any other
email address from which you currently send and receive email. This address is used to
authenticate your account should you ever encounter problems or forget your password.
It is strongly encouraged for Android users so you can regain access to Google services
and purchases on your phone.
7. Select if you join Google+ or not.
8. Read and accept the Google Terms of Service, and then touch
I accept
.
9. Enter the characters shown and touch

10. Enter required information if you want to enable purchases at the Google Play Store
and touch
Save

. If you do not want to use your Google Account to back up your apps,
settings and other data, uncheck the item from the list. Your account is displayed on the
list.
Sign In to Your Google Account
If you have a Google Account but have not yet signed in with your phone, follow these
instructions to sign in to your Google Account.
