Turn the Screen On
1. To turn the screen on, press the Power button.
2. Touch and hold on the screen, and swipe the screen towards the Start icon .
You can disable the screen lock or select a different type of lock feature. See Screen
Lock.
Tip: Three frequently used application shortcuts are provided on the default lock screen; the
Phone application, the Messaging application, and the Camera application. Swipe the screen
toward any of these shortcuts to immediately open and use its application. To customize the
lock screen application shortcuts, see Swipe Options.
Touchscreen Navigation
Your phone’s touchscreen lets you control actions through a variety of touch gestures.
Warning: Do not touch with a pen or stylus. It may damage the touch screen.
Touch
When you want to type using the onscreen keyboard, select items onscreen such as application
and settings icons, or press onscreen buttons, simply touch them with your finger.
