On the Google Maps screen, touch . A blue mark indicates your current location on the map.
This feature is available when location settings are enabled. See Move or Remove Items on the
Home Screen.
Search Maps
1. On the Google Maps screen, touch on the search box.
2. Type the place that you want to search. You can enter an address, a city, or type of
establishment.
3. Touch a matching result on the drop-down list. A red callout label appears on the map
to indicate the location.
4. Touch the red callout to open the menu for the location.

1. On the Google Maps screen, touch on the search box.
2. Touch the Explore nearby banner and choose places to eat, drink, play, shop and sleep.
Below the Explore nearby banner, find other services such as convenience stores,
post offices, petrol stations, and more.
3. Touch a location to see it on the map or get directions.
To clear your search, touch to the right of the search box.
Layer and Additional Options
Layers allow you to view locations and additional info overlaid on the map.
To access available layer and additional options menu, touch the three-line icon in the
bottom-left corner of the Maps screen.
A menu with available layers for your map will appear. Touch the name of the layer
that you'd like to turn on for your map (e.g. Traffic).
For additional options, touch Settings, Help, or Send feedback.
