▪ Help: Displays the help information for Emergency Alerts.
● Emergency notication preview: Plays a sample emergency alert tone. Tap Stop to
stop the sound.
Multimedia (MMS) Messages Settings
● Delivery reports: Requests a delivery report for each message you send.
● Auto-retrieve: Select this option to automatically retrieve all your multimedia
messages completely. When selected, the multimedia message header plus the
message body and attachments will automatically download to your phone. If you
clear this check box, only the multimedia message header will be retrieved and shown
in your Messaging screen.
▪ Roaming auto-retrieve: Automatically retrieve all your messages completely
when roaming. This may incur signicant phone charges.
Send Messages Settings
● Callback number: Adds call back number automatically.
● Signature: Appends text to messages you send.
● Conversion notication: Noties when converting to SMS/MMS.
● Location info. of attachment: Asks when picture including location information is attached.
● Multiple recipients default: Selects the default message type when sending a message to
multiple recipients.
Restore Settings
● Restore default settings: Restores the settings to original state. In Standard mode, tap
in the messaging settings screen to see this option menu.
Notications Settings
● Notications: Select this option if you want to receive a notication in the status bar
when a new text or multimedia message arrives.
