134 Camera and Camcorder
Shutter Button: Takes a picture.
Thumbnail: Displays the thumbnail of the latest image. Tap to open the Gallery to
view and manage.
Storage Area: Displays where the pictures you take will be saved (microSD or
Phone
).
Take a Picture
You can take high-resolution pictures using your phone’s camera.
1. Tap >
Camera > Take Photo.

Tap
>
Apps
>
Camera.
2. Tap to display the following buttons and set your desired settings.
Tap if you want to select the front-facing camera. Tap to switch back to
the back camera.
Tap to change the camera settings as desired. See Camera and Camcorder
Settings on page 138.
Tap if you need to change the ash setting.
3. Before taking the picture, you can zoom in on your subject.
To zoom in and out, slide the zoom slider with your nger.
4. Frame your subject on the screen.
Tip:
Hold the phone vertically when taking portrait shots or hold the phone horizontally
when taking landscape shots.
5. Tap to take the picture.
6. Choose what you want to do with the picture you’ve just taken. See Review Screen
on page 135.
