Access the Wi-Fi Settings Menu

Tools > Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi.

▪ Notify me: Check to notify you when you launch apps and Wi-Fi is available.
▪ Auto-connect Wi-Fi: Check to allow Wi-Fi to automatically turn on.
▪ Tap to open the following option menu.
•
Scan: Scan to nd Wi-Fi networks.
•
WPS Pin Entry: Tap to use WPS connection to networks.
•
Wi-Fi Direct: Tap to use a peer-to-peer Wi-Fi connection.The Wi-Fi client and
the hotspot operation will be disabled while Wi-Fi direct is enabled.

Advanced: Tap to congure advanced Wi-Fi settings, which include:
▪ Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep: Stays connected to Wi-Fi when the screen
goes to sleep to conserve mobile data usage.
▪ Avoid poor connections: Check to avoid the Wi-Fi network that is not a
good Internet connection.
▪ Wi-Fi frequency band: Species the frequency range of operation.
▪ MAC address: Displays the Media Access Control (MAC) address of your
phone when connected to a Wi-Fi network.
▪ IP address: Displays the Internet Protocol (IP) address assigned to your
phone by the Wi-Fi network you are connected to (unless you used the IP
settings to assign it a static IP address).
Bluetooth Settings
Your phone’s Bluetooth capabilities let you use wireless headsets, send and receive pictures
