2. Conrm Auto-sync data is checked.
3. Tap next to
Data usage cycle to change the period of time for which the chart will
display the data usage.
4. Tap either of the white lines on the chart to display the tabs. Drag the white tabs
horizontally to see the data usage of a specic period within the displayed cycle.
▪ The usage amount will be displayed just below the chart.
▪ The usage of each application will be displayed also.
Restrict Data Usage by Wi-Fi Networks
You can restrict the background data usage.
1. Tap >
Tools > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > Data usage.

2. Tap > Mobile hotspots.
Tip:
Some applications may warn before using these Wi-Fi networks for large downloads.
Other Wireless and Networks Settings
The More settings menu provides access to additional wireless and network options, such
as mobile networks, VPN, roaming, NFC, and more.
VPN Settings
A virtual private network (VPN) is a network that uses a public telecommunication
infrastructure, such as the Internet, to provide remote ofces or individual users with secure
