To open the Notications panel:
► Slide the status bar down to the bottom of the touchscreen.
Tip:
You can access your phone’s
Settings menus by tapping
at the upper right of the
Notications panel. For more information on the Settings menus, see Settings on
page 177.
Power Control Bar
The Power control bar allows you to congure the following features from this screen.
● GPS: Tap to enable the GPS feature to use the navigation application, such as Google
Maps. Tap again to disable it. See Enable Location Services on Your Phone on page 104.
● Bluetooth: Tap to enable the Bluetooth feature to connect to other devices. Tap again
to disable it. See Bluetooth on page 161.
● Sound: Tap to congure the ringtone and alert sound settings of your phone. See
Volumes on page 183.
Power Control Bar
If the feature symbol is in blue,
the feature is enabled.
Wi-Fi settings and USB connectivity can
be managed from this screen. Tap to
open the settings menu.
Tap to close.
