Tip:

Some of the keys on Kyocera keyboard are given below:
Key Description
Text mode: Tap to toggle between the Alphabet keyboard and Number &
Symbol keyboard.
Quick settings:
Tap to access the Kyocera keyboard menu. See Quick
Settings Key on page 32.
Voice input mode:
Tap to enter text using your voice.
Delete:
Tap to delete a character. Tap and hold to delete multiple characters.
Space:
Tap to insert a space.
Enter:
Tap to conrm your entry or move to a new line.
Shift:
Tap to toggle among lower case, upper case, or Caps lock.
Multi tap mode:
Tap to enter text by pressing keys just once per letter. This
mode is enabled while “ABC” is underlined (Phone keypad only).
Note:
Key appearance may vary depending on the selected keyboard type.
Text Mode
ABC mode is primarily used for entering letters while Number & Symbol mode is for
numbers and symbols.
Tap to select ABC mode. Tap to select Number & Symbol mode.
▪ In ABC mode, tap to alter the capitalization:
(Unshifted) to enter all letters in a word lowercase.
(One-character-shifted) to capitalize only the rst letter of a word.
(Caps Lock) to enter all letters in a word uppercase.
