▪ The Number & Symbol keyboard is in two layers. Tap to display the second
layer.
▪ Some keys have alternate characters. In either mode, if a key displays an extra
character on the upper left corner, tap and hold the key to enter the character. Or,
tap and hold a key to display the character options available on that key, then slide
your nger to the character that you want to enter.
Kyocera Keyboard Voice Input
You can use voice input to enter text by speaking anywhere that you can enter text with the
touchscreen keyboard.
1. Tap on the keyboard.
2. If you see Speak now, say the text you wish to enter into the microphone.
3. Conrm the text you wish to enter is displayed and tap Tap to pause. The entered
texts is dened.
4. Tap Tap to speak to continue.
Quick Settings Key
Quick settings key enables you to quickly access useful menu items.
1. Tap on Kyocera keyboard.
2. Choose from the following options:
▪ Español Keyboard to switch to the Spanish keyboard quickly. To go back to the
English keyboard, tap again and tap
English Keyboard.
▪ Hide suggestion bar to disable the suggestion for typing. To show the suggestion
bar again, tap
again and tap
Show suggestion bar.
▪ Settings to show the Kyocera keyboard settings menu.
▪ Clipboard to copy and paste texts. See Copy and Paste Text on Kyocera
Keyboard on page 33.
▪ Remove accents to remove accents or diacritics from text.
