Google Maps
Use the Google Maps app to determine your location, find directions, browse local businesses and
attractions, rate and review places, and more.
View Maps of Specified Places
Use Google Maps to locate and map a specific address or destination.
1. From home, tap Apps > Maps .
Google Maps opens.
Note: When you open the Google Maps apps for the first time, the Welcome to Google Maps screen will
appear. Tap ACCEPT & CONTINUE if you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. On the Google Maps screen, tap inside the Search bar at the top of the screen.
3. Type the place that you want to search. You can enter an address, a city, or type of
establishment.
Tip: Tap to enter the location by speaking.
4. Tap a matching result on the drop-down list, or tap on the keyboard.
A red marker appears on the map to indicate the location together with a label at the bottom of
the screen.
5. Tap the marker or the label to open the menu for the location.
