More Settings

The more settings menu provides access to additional wireless and network options, such as Airplane

mode, NFC, VPN, cellular networks, and more.

More Settings Options

Setting

Description

Airplane mode

Disable all settings that emit or receive signals. Phone stays powered on.

NFC

Allow data exchange when the phone touches another device.

Android Beam

Beam app content to another NFC-capable device by holding the devices

close together.

Tethering

Share your device’s Internet connection with a computer that connects to

your device via USB cable, or by Bluetooth. See Tethering for details.

VPN

Add a Virtual Private Network (VPN).

Cellular networks

Set Preferred network type, Roaming, etc.

Emergency Alerts

Configure settings for emergency alerts.
