Your Phone's Memory
You can see the availability of the storage space on your phone.
► From the Home screen, tap
Apps
>
Settings
>
Storage
.
 View your phone's total space and the space used by specific features under Internal
storage.

You may tap an itemized category for additional details.
SD Card
The SD card options let you view the card’s size and available space, unmount the card for data
protection, and format (erase) the SD card. See microSD Card.
USB Storage
The USB storage options are available when your phone is connected to an external device
using a USB cable.
View the USB Storage Memory
1. From the Home screen, tap
Apps
>
Settings
.
2. Tap
Storage
to see the information of the USB storage.
Unmount the USB Storage
Unmount the USB storage so that you can safely remove it.
1. From the Home screen, tap

Settings
>
Storage

2. Tap next to
USB storage
.
Erase the Data on the USB Storage
Warning:
You cannot retrieve the data once deleted.
1. From the Home screen, tap
Apps

Settings
>
Storage
>
USB storage

2. Tap >
Settings
>
Format
or
Format as internal
>
ERASE & FORMAT
>
OK
.
 Format: Select to format your USB storage.
 Format as internal: Select to use as internal storage for this device only. After
formatting, the USB storage will only work in this device.
