Messaging
Messaging allows you to stay connected 24 hours a day anywhere on the network. Send your
messages to your family and friends with text messaging (SMS) and multimedia messaging
(MMS).
Send a Message
Quickly compose and send messages on your phone.
From the Home screen, press >
Messaging
. 1.
Tip: For a shortcut, press the Left soft key [Message] in standby mode.
Select
New Message
and press . 2.
In the
To
field: 3.
 Press the Right soft key [Add] to add a recipient From Contacts, Recent Calls,
or Groups.
 Press the Left soft key to change the text entry mode.
When you are finished adding recipients, press to move to the Text field. 4.
Compose a message. 5.
 Press the Right soft key
[Options]
to select additional options:
• Attach to select a category of files you want to attach.
• Insert Quick Text to insert a preset text messages saved on the phone.
• Save As Draft to save the message into your Drafts folder.
• Priority Level to send the message with a High or Normal priority.
• Save As Quick Text to save the message text to the Quick Text list.
• Cancel Message to cancel the message and save the message in the Drafts
folder.
Review your message and press
[SEND]
