Drafts Folder
The Drafts folder holds messages that have been composed but have not yet sent. You can
return to the Drafts folder at any time to view, edit, or send a draft message.
View Draft Messages
From the Home screen, press > Messaging > Drafts. 1.
Select one of the following options with a message highlighted (available options may 2.
vary depending on the type of message):
 Press [EDIT] to continue editing the message.
 Press the Left soft key [Erase] to erase the message.
 Press the Right soft key [Options] to select an option:
• Send to send the selected message.
• Lock/Unlock to lock or unlock the selected message.
• Add To Contacts to save a phone number or email address in a new or existing
contact list entry.
• Erase Drafts to delete messages in the Drafts folder.
Messaging Settings
You can configure settings for your messages.
From the Home screen, press > Messaging. 1.
Press the Left soft key [Settings]. 2.
Configure the following settings: 3.
 Inbox View to set the default message view. Select Time to display messages by
time received, or Contact to display messages by Contact, in thread.
 Entry Mode to select your default input mode from XT9 Word, Abc, ABC, 123, or
XT9 Palabra.
 Auto Save Sent to select the default save mode for messages you send. Select
from On, Off, or Prompt.
 Auto Erase Inbox to automatically delete read messages when you exceed the
storage limit. Select On or Off.
