Messaging 40
 Messaging Font Size to select the font size for received messages. Select from
Normal, Large, or MagniFont.
 TXT Auto View to automatically display text messages when they arrive. Select On
or Off.
 Multimedia Auto Receive to automatically accept new multimedia messages.
Select On or Off.
 Group Messaging to select default settings for messages to multiple contacts.
Select Individual Messages or Group Conversation.
 Quick Text to display the list of preset messages.
• Press the Left soft key [Erase] to delete preset messages. Press the Right
soft key [Options] > New to add new preset message. To modify a text,
highlight the text and press [EDIT]. To rearrange the order of preset
message, press the Right soft key [Options] > Move.
 Emergency Alerts to configure the Emergency Alerts settings. See Emergency
Alerts for details.
 Voicemail # to manually enter the access number for Voicemail.
 Callback # to automatically send a designated callback number when you send a
message. Select On or Off.
 Signature to add a customized signature to each message you send. Select
Custom to enter the signature. Select None to disable signatures.
 Delivery Receipt to select whether you are notified when a message you send is
delivered. Select On or Off.
Emergency Alerts
Your phone is compatible with federally supervised cell phone alert services which send out
broadcast SMS messages for public warning.
To configure the Emergency Alerts:
From the Home screen, press > Messaging. 1.
Press the Left soft key [Settings] > Emergency Alerts > Receive Alerts. 2.
Configure the following options: 3.
 Receive Alerts to check the box next to the options you wish to select.
