From the Home screen, press > Settings & Tools > Sounds Settings > Alert 1.
Sounds.
Select one of the following settings: 2.
 TXT Message to set a notification for text message. Select Tone, Vibrate, or
Reminder.
 Multimedia Message to set a notification for multimedia messages. Select Tone,
Vibrate, or Reminder.
 Voicemail to set a notification for voicemail message. Select Tone, Vibrate, or
Reminder.
 Emergency Tone to set the alert for emergency dialing. Select Alert, Vibrate, or Off.
 Missed Call to set a notification for missed calls. Select Tone, Vibrate, or Reminder.
Keypad Volume
You can set the keypad volume.
From the Home screen, press > Settings & Tools > Sounds Settings > Keypad

Select a volume level by pressing the Navigation key up or down. 2.

Service Alerts
You can set the alerts options according to your needs.
From the Home screen, press > Settings & Tools > Sounds Settings > Service

Select one of the following settings: 2.
 ERI to alert you when you change service areas.
 Minute Beep to alert you every minute during a voice call.
 Call Connect to alert you when the call is connected.
 Software Update to alert you when the software is updated.
