2. To end the call, tap .
The call ends.
Mute the Ringing Sound
To mute the ringer without rejecting the call:
■ Press the Volume key down.
Reject an Incoming Call
■ When a call arrives, swipe to reject it.
The ringtone or vibration will stop and the call will be sent directly to voicemail.
Reject a Call and Send a Text Message
You can reject an incoming call and automatically send a text message to the caller.
■ When a call arrives, tap to ignore the call and send a message to the caller.
The ringtone or vibration will stop and the message will be delivered to the caller.
Note: You can edit the preset text messages through the Call settings menu. See Quick Responses.
In-Call Screen Layout and Operations
While you’re on a call, you will see a number of onscreen options.
In-Call Screen Layout
Tap options to activate them during a call.
● Add call: Tap to initiate a 3-way call.
● End: End the current call.
● Dialpad/Hide: Toggle the appearance of the onscreen dialpad to enter additional numbers such
as an extension or access code.
For example: When you call your bank’s 800 number, use your dialpad to enter your account
number and PIN.
● Mute: Mute or unmute the microphone during an active call.
● Speaker: Turn the speaker on or off.
Warning: Because of higher volume levels, do not place the phone near your ear during speakerphone
use.
● Bluetooth: Route the phone’s audio through a connected Bluetooth headset or through the
speaker.
