This matter has been brought to the attention of the FCC, and the wireless industry and the PSAP
community are currently working to resolve this.
ESChat(Push To Talk)
With ESChat(Push To Talk), you can quickly and reliably connect to an individual or group instantly with a
push of a button.
Note: This service requires a subscription.
Note: By installing PTT application, the Programmable Key will be a dedicated PTT key.
Set Up PTT+
1. Download and install the ESChat (Push To Talk) app from Play Store. See Google Play Store for
details.
2. Tap the installed app to open it.
3. Read the message and tap ACTIVATE.
4. Tap Yes to confirm the activation.
5. Tap View tutorial to display the tutorials to learn how to start using the PTT+ app or Skip
tutorial.
Create a PTT+ Contact
1. From home, tap Apps > ESChat > Contacts.
2. Tap at the bottom of the screen.
3. Tap New Contact and manually enter the contact’s information.

Tap Import Contact, select the contact source, and select the contact.
4. Tap .
Make a PTT+ Call
1. From home, tap Apps > ESChat > Contacts.
2. Tap the check box next to the contact you want to call on the contact list and tap .
3. Touch and hold the on-screen PTT+ button and speak after the chirp tone.
A PTT+ call is started when the button turns red. While holding the button, your voice can be
heard by the other person on the call.
4. Release the PTT+ button to allow other people on the call to take the floor and speak.
