Common Causes of Battery Drain
• Playing games or using the Web
• Keeping backlighting on
• Operating the phone far away from a base station or cell
site
• Using data cables or accessories
• Operating the phone when no service is available, or
service is available intermittently
• High volume settings
• Repeating sound, vibration, or lighted alerts
Storing
• Don’t store the phone in high temperature areas for long
periods of time. It’s best to follow these storage rules:
▪ Less than one month:
-4° F to 140° F (-20° C to 60° C)
▪ More than one month:
-4° F to 113° F (-20° C to 45° C)
