Turn Bluetooth On or Off
Use the settings menu to enable or disable your phone’s Bluetooth capabilities.
1. From the Home screen, tap
Apps
>
Settings > Connected devices
.
2. Tap the ON/OFF icon next to Bluetooth to turn Bluetooth on or off.

Bluetooth

2. Tap the ON/OFF icon to turn Bluetooth on or off.
NOTE:
Turn off Bluetooth when not in use to conserve battery power, or in places
where using a wireless phone is prohibited, such as aboard an aircraft and in
hospitals.
The Bluetooth Settings Menu
The Bluetooth settings menu gives you access to information and controls for your phone’s
Bluetooth feature.
1. From the Home screen, tap
Apps
>
Settings
>
Connected devices
>
Bluetooth
.
2. If Bluetooth is not turned on, tap the
ON/OFF
icon to turn Bluetooth on.
▪ Tap
Pair new device
to try pairing with a new device.
▪ Tap
Device name
to rename your phone.
▪ Tap
Received files
to see Bluetooth received Transfer history.
▪ Phone’s Bluetooth address is shown at the bottom of this screen.
Change the Phone Name
The phone name identifies your phone to other devices.
1. From the Home screen, tap
Apps
>
Settings
>
Connected devices
.
2. If Bluetooth is not turned on, tap the ON/OFF icon to turn Bluetooth on.
3. Tap > Bluetooth > Device name.
4. Enter the name for your phone in the dialog box, and then tap RENAME.
