displayed under "Mobile Hotspot."
Bluetooth tethering
You can share your phone's Internet connection with Bluetooth devices via Bluetooth.
1. From the Home screen, tap
Apps

Settings
>
Network & Internet
>
Mobile
Hotspot & tethering
.
2. Tap the ON/OFF icon next to Bluetooth tethering to turn it on.
3. Pair your phone with a Bluetooth device. If they are already paired, establish their
connection. See Connect a Bluetooth Headset or Car Kit or Reconnect a Headset or
Car Kit for details. See also Bluetooth.
VPN settings
A virtual private network (VPN) is a network that uses a public telecommunication infrastructure,
such as the Internet, to provide remote offices or individual users with secure access to their
organization’s network. For more information about the VPN settings, see Virtual Private
Networks (VPN).
Airplane mode
Airplane Mode allows you to use many of your phone’s features, such as Photos, Camera, and
Music, when you are on an airplane or in any other area where making or receiving calls or data
is prohibited. When you set your phone to Airplane Mode, it cannot send or receive any calls or
access online information.
To turn Airplane Mode on or off from Quick Settings:
1. Slide the status bar down to the bottom of the touchscreen. If necessary, tap to
expand the Quick Settings panel.
2. Tap
Airplane
to turn Airplane mode on or off. To turn on Airplane Mode, read the
message and tap
OK
. While in Airplane Mode, the status bar will display .
To turn Airplane Mode on or off in Settings:
1. From the Home screen, tap

2. Tap the
