8-2 OPERATION GUIDE
1 Access 13. Sleep Mode.
If you are unsure how to use this route map refer to Accessing Menu Items on
page xx.
2 Press W or X to select the time for the Sleep Mode to engage and press [OK].
The display returns to the ready screen.
Toner Install
If you replace the toner container, you must reset the toner counter as explained
below.
1 Access 14. Toner Install.
If you are unsure how to use this route map refer to Accessing Menu Items on
page xx.
2 Press W or X to select On and press [OK]. The display returns to the ready
screen.
Buzzer
The Buzzer can be set to sound when a key on the operation panel is pressed or in
cases when errors occur, etc.
1 Access 16. Buzzer.
If you are unsure how to use this route map refer to Accessing Menu Items on
page xx.
2 Press W or X to select On or Off. Press [OK]. The display returns to the ready
screen.
Drum Reset
Perform the drum reset procedure when the drum unit has been replaced.
CAUTION: If this procedure has not been performed, the machine cannot set the
proper main charger current control and a print quality problem may occur.
