Headset Mode
Set up your phone for hands-free use when an optional headset is connected to it.
To activate the turbo button on or off:
1. Press MENU/OK > Settings/Tools > Settings > More… > Headset Mode > Turbo
Button.
2. Select On or Off.
Tip: Press the turbo button twice to redial the last outgoing call.
To set the earpiece mode:
1. Press MENU/OK > Settings/Tools > Settings > More… > Headset Mode > Earpiece.
2. Select Stereo or Mono.
To set the ringer sound:
1. Press MENU/OK > Settings/Tools > Settings > More… > Headset Mode > Ringer
Sound.
2. Select Normal or Headset Only.
Setting Power On to Alert
Power on to Alert helps prevent unintentional or accidental power-on of your phone’s alarm
settings while your phone is turned off. This setting applies to Push Alarm, Calendar Event, Call
Alarm and Alarm Clock, and the phone will be powered on in Airplane Mode at the time when
the alarm goes off.
1. Press MENU/OK > Settings/Tools > Settings > More… > Power On to Alert.
2. Select On or Off.
Key Guard
You can prevent unintentional or accidental keypress by activating the Key Guard function –
manually or automatically. A Key Guard icon will appear while Key Guard is active.
To activate Key Guard manually:
► Press and hold SPACE or BACK in idle mode.
To release Key Guard:
► Press SPACE, and then BACK.
Auto Key Guard
Auto Key Guard locks your keys automatically when 60 seconds elapses in idle mode or after
the set time in Sleep Mode.
1. Press MENU/OK > Settings/Tools > Settings > More… > Auto Key Guard.
2. Select On or Off.
