Using Parental Controls Feature
This feature allows an administrator of the phone who is not a real user of the phone set
restrictions for the usage of variable phone’s functions. By setting the lock code, the real
user can not change the restriction settings.
Activating the Parental Controls feature
► From the standby mode, press MENU/OK > Settings > Parental Controls > On/Off
> On.
If this setting is set to On, each time you select the Parental Controls menu, you will be
required to enter your Parental Control Code (see below).
Changing the Parental Control Code
► Press MENU/OK > Settings > Parental Controls > Change Parental Control Code.

When the administrator of the phone change the Parental Controls setting form Off to
On, he/she can change the code.
Restricting the Phone’s Functions
1. Press MENU/OK > Parental Controls > Restriction.
2. Select an option from the following to restrict each phone’s function.
Voice Calls to restrict incoming and outgoing voice calls except 911 and *2
(Customer Solution) dialing.
Text Messages to restrict sending and the recipients of text messages.
When you select Voice Calls or Text Messages, select On/Off > On. If
On is
selected, select Allowed Contacts > All Contacts or Choose
Contacts to allow voice calls and text messages to and from all or some
Contacts entries. Also, If On is selected, the user can not add, edit, and
delete any Contacts and Group entries.
Web to restrict the activation of Browser.
Camera to restrict the activation of the Camera function,
Force GPS to disallow the phone’s real user change the Location setting from On
to Off. (See “Location Settings” on page 22.)
