Deleting Phone Content
You can quickly and easily delete all the content that you have created or stored in your
phone.
1. Press MENU/OK > Settings > Reset/Delete > Delete Stuff.
2. Select an option and press MENU/OK.
Text Messages to delete all messages, including locked ones, in the Inbox, Sent
Mail, Pending, and Drafts folders; all Recent Lists; and all user-created preset
messages (text messages, SMS Voice messages, etc.).
Call Logs to delete all call history in the phone.
Browser Cookies and Cache to delete all Web cookies and all Web cache
memory saved in the phone.
Downloaded Content all data downloaded to your phone.
Contacts to delete all of your Contacts including the speed dial numbers saved in
you Contacts.
Voice Memo to delete all voice data and call memos saved in the phone.
My Albums to delete all media stored on My Albums.
All Stuff to delete all data defined in the all of the above menus.
3. A message appears. Press OK (left softkey) to continue.
4. If you are certain you would like to delete, press YES (left softkey).
The first time you select the Reset/Delete menu, you will be prompted to change the
default lock code (your phone’s last four digits) to your own lock code for security
purposes.
Resetting Phone Content
Resetting the phone restores all the factory defaults, including the ringer types and display
settings, Contacts, History, Scheduler, and Messages are not affected.
1. Press MENU/OK > Settings > Reset/Delete.
2. Select an option and press MENU/OK.
Reset Settings to restore all the factory defaults, including ringer types and
display settings. Contacts, History, Calendar, and Messages are not affected.
Reset Phone to reset all settings and erase all data on your phone.
Reset Picture Mail to reset your authentication ID for your Picture Mail account.
3. A message appears. Press OK (left softkey) to continue.
4. If you are certain you would like to delete, press YES (left softkey).
