Calendar and Tools
Calendar
To display Calendar:
1. Press MENU/OK > Tools > Calendar.
2. Press the left softkey to switch between WEEKLY and MONTHLY.
Setting the Time/Date
In a no-service area, you need to set actual time and date to use Calendar function. Set the
current Time/Date by using numeric keys and/or the navigation key (right or left: move
cursor, up or down: change value).
Holidays
To add and edit holidays:
1. From the Calendar display, highlight the day to set as a holiday and press OPTIONS
(right softkey) > Settings > Holiday.
2. Select an option and press MENU/OK:
Set as Holiday to set the holiday for the date.
Set as Weekly Holidays to set the holiday for the same day every week. Press
YES (left softkey) to set a weekly holiday.
Set as Weekday to reset the holiday for the highlighted date only.
Set as Weekly Weekdays to reset the holiday that recurs on the same day each
week. Press YES (left softkey) to clear the weekly holiday
Reset All to reset all added holidays. Press YES (left softkey) to clear.
Adding an Event to the Calendar
Your Calendar helps organize your time and reminds you of up to 100 important events.
1. Press MENU/OK > Tools > Calendar.
2. Highlight the day to which you would like to add a schedule event and press OPTIONS
(right softkey) > Add Schedule.
3. Enter a description and press MENU/OK.
4. Select a category for the event (Appointment, Meeting, etc.) by highlighting the
category field and press MENU/OK.
5. Select a priority for the event by highlighting the priority field and pressing MENU/OK.
6. Select a start and end time for the event by highlighting the time field and pressing
MENU/OK.
7. Enter a location for the event and press MENU/OK.
8. Select a ringer type for the alarm by highlighting the ringer field and pressing
MENU/OK.
To download ringers, select Get New.
To download ringers, select Get New.
9. Select an alarm time by highlighting the alarm time field and pressing MENU/OK.
10. Select a repeat status for the alarm by highlighting the repeat field and pressing
MENU/OK.
11. Press SAVE(left softkey) > MENU/OK.
