User's Manual
To avoid a lost connection:
1. Move the music device back into range (within 30 feet), and/or make sure there’s a clear line of sight
between the unit and the Bluetooth device.
2. If the connection is lost, the connection will need to be reestablished. Follow the directions under
“Reconnecting Your Device”.
NFC
To pair the IMW575 with NFC enabled devices, hold your NFC enabled phone directly against the IMW575's
“Wireless Check in for NFC” mark for 2 seconds. Once the pairing is successful, the speaker will make a sound
to confirm. (Some devices may ask for confirmation from the user.)
Charging a Smart Phone or other MP3 Players
If your smart phone or MP3 player is equipped with a charging cable that plugs into a USB connector, the
IMW575 can most likely charge your device. Plug the charging cable that came with your device into your
device and plug the USB connector into the back of the IMW575 (you will need to open the waterproof cover).
The IMW575 does not need to be plugged into a power outlet in order to recharge your device however, using
the IMW575 to recharge your device will reduce the battery life until the next time you recharge the IMW575.
Playing music from a non-Bluetooth device
The IMW575 includes a 3.5mm Auxiliary Cable. To listen to music from a non-Bluetooth device, plug on end of
this cable into the Aux In jack located on the back of the IMW575 (you will need to open the waterproof cover).
Plug the other end of the cable into the 3.5mm Headphone jack of your non-Bluetooth device. Set the volume
on the device to ¾ volume and begin playing music. Adjust the volume on the IMW575 to a suitable listening
level.
