7. When the restart is complete, verify that the SDU is in Operational Mode and
functioning as expected. To verify that the correct software version and
configurations have been loaded, check the following:
a. From the Home page, click on the General, ARINC, and Discrete In tabs to
review the system and link status, and the status of the ARINC 429 Rx and
Discrete In connections.
b. Click on the Faults page to view if any faults are currently raised.
c. Click on the Part Numbers page to verify that the software part number
displayed matches the software version and part number as noted in the release
notes or upgrade instructions
d. Enter User Name and Password (Maintenance User) and click Login.
e. Maintenance User - Click ORT and review the ORT configurations to confirm that
they are correct.
f. Click Logout after your review is complete and satisfactory.
7.5 Exiting Maintenance Mode
To save changes and uploaded configuration data, you need to exit maintenance mode for
the changes to take effect
1. In the top-right hand corner of the screen, click Exit Maintenance Mode.
2. A Message displays prompting for confirmation to exit Maintenance Mode
(see Figure 7-19).
Note:
If you click Cancel, your changes are still active but not saved.

3. Click OK to exit Maintenance Mode, save your changes and reboot the system.
