1. Withsystempoweron,connectanEthernetcabletotheMaintenancePortviathefront
panelaccessdooroftheSDU.
2. Connecttheotherendofthecabletoalaptopwithawebbrowser(Mozilla FireFox®is
recommended).
3. Confirmthatthegreenlinklightisilluminated.The
lightcanbesteadyorflashing–flashing
meansthatdataisbeingtransmitted.
4. Setthelaptopnetworkadaptertothefo llowing:
IP=192.168.128.10
SubnetMask=255.255.255.0
Note:TheMaintenanceportcanauto‐negotiatethe bestspeed (10/100)andmode(full/halfduplex).
5. Openthelaptop’s
webbrowserandclearthecache.
6. IntheAddressbar,typethefollowingdefaultIPaddress:192.168.128.1.TheAirbusIridi um
SATCOMSystemHomepagewilldisplaywiththeGeneraltabinformationdisplayed.
